I'm Paul, founder of Cyber.Irish — a cybersecurity consultancy built on a foundation of almost two decades of experience in IT, policing, and cybercrime investigations. I specialise in cloud security, digital forensics, enterprise application management, and incident response.

Drawing on over 12 years of experience in UK policing, I served as a Digital Media Investigator and Cyber Crime Constable, providing operational support for cybercrime, murder investigations, serious and organised crime, child protection, and sensitive covert policing operations. Alongside these duties, I was an accredited police instructor, training officers in digital forensics, cyber investigations, and operational tactics.

During my policing tenure, I also delivered specialist armed response policing, including the protection of Critical National Infrastructure sites, and supported national security deployments addressing counter-terrorism threats in environments with persistent and credible risks to public safety.

Beyond my law enforcement experience, I bring enterprise technical expertise — from managing and migrating cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, to designing secure networks, implementing automation, and leading cyber incident responses across private organisations and educational institutions. I currently serve as a Team Lead for Enterprise Applications at a post-secondary college in Alberta, and act as a System Administrator for a nonprofit organisation.

My mission is simple: to make cybersecurity accessible, meaningful, and effective — removing unnecessary complexity and delivering practical solutions tailored to each organisation's needs.
